200,000 visitors for ‘Don’t Shoot’

Don’t Shoot has now passed the 200,000 visitor mark, good for a Platinum Film Award. The award was handed over to actor Jan Decleir, who plays the grandfather of David Van de Steen, survivor of the last attack on the Delhaize department store in Aalst on November 9 1985.

Currently, Don’t Shoot and ‘Sinterklaas en de Wakkere Nachten’, both films directed by Stijn Coninx, are at numbers 1 and 2 in the top 30 of moviegoers in Flanders. It has never been seen before in Belgium that the most visited films are made by the same director.
