Synopsis
In ‘Lottery Winners’ we follow the Desmet family who live in a block of flats in a working-class area. Father Rudy works as a money courier, his wife Sandra is a cleaning woman at a small PR office, and their slightly countercultural son Jasper is the first family member to graduate from secondary school. Together with Reinhilde, Rudy’s self-willed mother who lives with them, they share life’s joys and sorrows. Packed together in the modest apartment, they manage to live cosily together, but the place is always hectic and the atmosphere sometimes very tense.
