The exciting trailer for ‘Zeppos – The Mercator Trail’, a Flemish adventure film for young and old, was launched today.
The story is about two young people, Benjamin and Slien, who are dragged along by an old adventurer, Zeppos, on a historical journey in the wake of the medieval scientist Mercator.
Benjamin is played by Nathan Naenen (wtFOCK, Kattenoog), Slien by Britt Scholte (Kattenoog, Misfit – the series) and Zeppos by Carry Goossens (Code 37, Professor T). We also find Koen De Bouw (The Verdict, De Premier), Nora Gharib (Patser) and Carlos Schram (Red Light) in important roles. The screenplay is inspired by Louis De Groof’s character “Captain Zeppos” and was written by Wouter Van Haver (Cool Abdoul). It is directed by Douglas Boswell (Labyrinthus, Buck). Peter Bouckaert and Nathalie Van Schelvergem are producing the film for Eyeworks.
‘Zeppos – The Mercator Trail’ will be distributed by Kinepolis Film Distribution (KFD) and is expected in cinemas on February the 23rd, 2022.
