Synopsis
The film recounts the life of the Bandini Italian immigrant family in Colorado during the cold winter of 1925. During the winter, there is hardly any work to be found for the poor Italian immigrant and bricklayer Svevo Bandini. His beautiful wife can hardly love him under the difficult circumstances and begins to distrust him when he keeps doing sketchy jobs for the super-rich, but lonely widow Hildegarde. Bandini’s eldest son, Arturo, sees what is happening and tries to do something about it in his own way.
