THE ALZHEIMER CASE

Vincke and Verstuyft are the best detective duo of the Antwerp police. When they are confronted with the murder of a top civil servant, they do everything in their power to catch the culprit. The trail leads to the hitman Angelo Ledda. Ledda suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and finds it increasingly difficult to carry out his assignments. When he realizes, moreover, that he has allowed himself to be used for a political power play, he decides to go after his clients. Vincke and Verstuyft have their hands full untangling the tangle of intrigues, settlements and networks and preventing any more deaths.

‘The Alzheimer case’ has a top cast including – besides Koen De Bouw as Vincke, Werner De Smedt as Verstuyft and Jan Decleir as hitman Ledda – Hilde De Baerdemaeker, Jo De Meyere and Geert Van Rampelberg. Tom Van Dyck, Tom Waes and Lucas Van den Eynde, among many others, also appear in The Alzheimer Case. This start of the trilogy was directed by Erik Van Looy, who also wrote the screenplay together with Carl Joos.

THE K. FILE

In the compelling police thriller ‘The K. File’, a brutal murder of a key figure of the Albanian mafia in Antwerp sets in motion an inescapable clan war. According to the laws of the Kanun, an ancient code of honor from the inhospitable mountains of Albania, blood must be avenged with blood, and it is only a matter of time before there are more victims. Vincke and Verstuyft are dragged along in a fatal spiral from which no one seems to be able to escape.

Besides Koen De Bouw and Werner De Smedt, Hilde De Baerdemaeker, Filip Peeters, Blerim Destani and Erkan Albay can be seen in this second film about Vincke and Verstuyft. Marieke Dilles makes her film debut. ‘The K. File’ was directed by Jan Verheyen. He wrote the screenplay together with Erik Van Looy and Carl Joos.

CONTROL

The once unconditional friendship between Commissioners Vincke and Verstuyft goes through deep valleys when they are confronted with a series of gruesome murders. A surviving victim drives a wedge between the friends when Verstuyft falls for her charms. And meanwhile, the serial killer has a new prey in his sights…

‘Control’ was directed by Jan Verheyen. Besides Koen De Bouw as Commissioner Vincke and Werner De Smedt as Verstuyft, the film also stars Sofie Hoflack, Chris Van den Durpel, Kadèr Gürbüz, Michiel De Meyer, Frances Lefebure and Marijke Pinoy. The screenplay was written by Carl Joos.
