Three women become entangled in the world of human trafficking, prostitution and organised crime following the disappearance of an eminent philosopher. From totally different worlds, they meet at a comparable turning point in their life and have to break free by putting their relationship to power and sexuality to the test and reinventing their identity.
The main characters are performed by three well-known actresses: Carice van Houten (‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Zwartboek’, ‘Minoes’, ‘The Fifth Estate’), Maaike Neuville (‘Clan’, ‘De Dag’, ‘Van Vlees en Bloed’) en Halina Reijn (‘Blind’, ‘Obsession’ (theater), ‘Valkyrie’).
