Synopsis
When the well-disciplined, promising athlete Splinter hears the diagnosis that she will never run again after suffering a crippling fall on the track, she decides to trade in her father/coach and the village in which she was born for the city, where she searches for independence and a new goal in life. Meeting her eccentric housemate, Bill, sets off an intense quest for direction, a future, sexuality, friendship and enough love for herself that she can love someone else and let go.
