In the fourth series of “Chantal”, a fresh but unsettling wind is blowing through Loveringem. \u200b As the Loveringem police station\/town hall is being restored and refurbished, Chantal\u2019s neighbourhood police unit has to temporarily move to the former nursery school. Contractor Schietekatte, who was awarded the restoration contract, has promised them that the works will take \u2018three or four months\u2019 at most. It goes without saying that this is an empty promise, not to say a deliberate lie. The forced move feels like a humiliation; the new location immediately earns them the nickname \u2018The Loveringem Toddlers’.<\/p>\n
But that is not the only change the neighbourhood police unit has to endure. The ambitious Felke is making the switch to the criminal investigation department in Veurne. With Chantal at the helm of the Loveringem team and Felke as a trainee detective, the women are showing more than ever this season just what they are capable of.
