‘The Infiltrator’ will be on air (VTM) every Monday, starting February\u00a05th. The Infiltrator is loosely based on a true story.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a stint in jail for fraud and forgery, Danny Desmedt is determined not to land back behind bars. But turning his back on a life of petty crime? No, fraudster Danny wouldn\u2019t go that far.<\/em><\/p>\n

Jo\u00ebl Vanhoebrouck<\/span>,\u00a0the maker of hit series like De Bunker, Eigen Kweek and Dubbelleven, took on the directing role for this series. For their screenplay, Philippe De Schepper (‘Eigen Kweek’, ‘Dubbelleven’) and Bas Adriaensen (‘Eigen Kweek’, ‘Vermist’) got their inspiration from the non-fiction book \u2018Alpha 20\u2019 by Kris Daels, who spent years as an undercover cop.<\/p>\n

Among the cast, we find Geert Van Rampelberg (Danny Desmedt), Dirk Roofthooft (Freddy Bernaerts), Peter Van den Begin (Marc Potvin), Natali Broods (Karen Hofman) and Wouter Hendrickx (Lars).<\/p>\n
